The Queen of Cups

I was asked by Michael Cuffe of Warholian to participate in "Tarot: The Art of Fortune" where an artist takes one card from a standard Tarot deck and does their own interpretation of it. I chose the Queen of Cups. It was interesting to use a reference photo that I took for a different purpose and add to it to fit the concept.

A 78 person art show spanning every card in a standard Rider-Waite Tarot deck, reimagined by top contemporary artists from around the United States. Curated by Warholian’s Michael Cuffe and hosted by Bradley Platz and Kim Larson of San Francisco’s Modern Eden Gallery.

Opening reception: March 16th, 2013 - 6pm to 10pm
