Smooth Newsprint YAY (Figure Drawing)

Finally finished off my canson biggie sketch pad. It's a good surface to work on for charcoal pencils, but I love smooth newsprint.. I say to hell with archivability!!

Something about the feel of compressed charcoal on smooth newsprint, the way it glides, the amount of control, the ease of workign with it...... favorite thing ever.

A rare pastel study from me... I could not resist, the blue robe reflecting on to her back was too beautiful to resist...
