Info Post
These are the paintings that I have done for the Valona 2010 Paintout hosted by the Epperson Gallery in Crockett, California. For those who don't know (I'm guessing 90% of ya) Crockett is a sleepy little town across the bridge from Vallejo.

If you drive across the bridge on your way from Richmond to Vallejo, you will see this icon:

"The Sugar Factory." 12x16", Oil on Canvas Board.

...in case you ever wonder where your C and H pure cane sugar comes from...

The Carquinez Shoreline is the most scenic area of Contra Costa county. The Carquinez Strait runs between San Pablo Bay and Suisun Bay and is surrounded by steep eucalyptus-lined hills.

Carquinez Shoreline, 12x16", Oil on Canvas Board.

The paintout was not limited to Contra Costa county; we could go wherever we wanted.

Bodega Head Trail. 12x16", Oil on Canvas Board.

Point Reyes Limantour, 12x16", Oil on Canvas Board.

We get a choice of 3 different paintings that we want to enter into the exhibition.  I can't really decide between the Limantour one and the Carquinez Shoreline one...

Sale – Starting on October 23rd

Reception – Saturday, October 23rd 4pm-7pm

Epperson Gallery, 1400 Pomona St., Crockett CA 94525

I am considering making a series of prints for sale.  I have put up a couple of polls for everyone to check out.
Your feedback would be hugely helpful, as I am trying to figure out which of my series are most popular.

To vote, you have 2 options:

The blog has on the top-right corner a poll which will have you choose your favorite out of 5 different series.

OR:

You can go to my Facebook fan page and follow the link to the "separate but same" poll there.
